MEP Procurement Manager

Dubai, UAE

Salary: Up to AED 40,000 + Family Benefits & Education Allowance

A leading Conglomerate is seeking an accomplished MEP Procurement Manager.

The position will lead lead and manage the procurement function at a group level, overseeing strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, and procurement operations across multiple projects. The role is responsible for developing procurement strategies, securing competitive pricing, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontract packages for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.

This role requires a proven Manager who will drive cost optimization, standardize procurement processes across the group, mitigate supply chain risks, and work closely with commercial, estimation, and project teams to support successful project delivery. Strong experience in MEP contracting within the UAE , supplier network management, and procurement leadership for large-scale building and infrastructure projects is essential.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical).

• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, PMP, or equivalent are preferred.

• Strong understanding of MEP systems, materials, equipment, and subcontracting practices.

• Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship management skills.

• Proficient in ERP systems, procurement software, and advanced MS Excel.

Requirements

• Minimum 12-15 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within MEP contracting.

• Experience in managing multiple Business Units

• Proven experience managing procurement for large-scale MEP, construction, and building services projects in the UAE.

• Strong network of regional and international suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.

• Demonstrated success in delivering procurement savings, supply chain optimization, and strategic sourcing initiatives.

• Experience in managing multiple projects at a corporate level.

• Sound knowledge of commercial contracts, procurement best practices, and UAE construction market dynamics.
