## Description

🏗️ QS / ESTIMATOR | INTERIOR FIT-OUT | DUBAI

I’m currently supporting a residential fit-out contractor in Dubai who are looking to appoint an experienced QS / Estimator to join their commercial team.

💰 Salary: up to AED 20,000 per month

The Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in interior fit-out and will be responsible for both pre- and post-contract commercial activities, from tender pricing and estimating through to variations, valuations and final accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate tenders, BOQs and detailed cost estimates

• Carry out quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements

• Analyse drawings, specifications and project requirements

• Obtain, review and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations

• Prepare detailed pricing and tender submissions

• Monitor project costs and commercial performance

• Manage variations, claims and additional works

• Prepare interim payment applications

• Manage subcontractor valuations and payments

• Assist with final accounts and project close-out

• Maintain accurate cost reports and commercial documentation

• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors

• Provide commercial input throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• 5–10 years’ experience as a QS or Estimator within Dubai fit-out/construction

• Strong interior/residential fit-out experience

• Proven experience in tender pricing and estimating

• Strong knowledge of BOQs and quantity take-offs

• Good understanding of UAE material and labour rates

• Experience managing variations, claims and final accounts

• Experience with interim payment applications and subcontractor valuations

• Strong commercial and negotiation skills

• Excellent communication skills with clients, consultants and subcontractors
