## Description

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership and engineering governance across a major Facilities Management project. The role will oversee electrical infrastructure, specialist systems, asset reliability, lifecycle planning, contractor management and compliance.

Contract duration - 3 months

Package - AED 15000/month

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and governance for all electrical engineering operations.

• Act as the technical authority for substations, switchgear, generators, UPS, emergency power, lighting, earthing and lightning protection systems.

• Ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of electrical assets.

• Lead electrical asset lifecycle planning, condition assessments and renewal programmes.

• Manage and monitor specialist contractors and vendors, ensuring quality, safety and timely delivery.

• Lead and develop engineers and technicians, including performance management and technical training.

• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical regulations, codes, standards and HSE requirements.

• Support emergency response and business continuity related to electrical infrastructure.

• Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, sustainability and continuous improvement.

• Coordinate with stakeholders and provide reports on asset condition, engineering operations, compliance and project status.

• Support coordination and oversight of related civil works within FM operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably within Facilities Management or Building Services.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems including substations, switchgear, generators, UPS, emergency power, lighting, earthing and lightning protection.

• Knowledge of IEC, NFPA, NEC and applicable local electrical standards.

• Knowledge of SFG20, PPM and asset lifecycle management.

• Familiarity with CAFM/CMMS systems such as Maximo.

• Experience in contractor/vendor management and performance monitoring.

• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
