Who We're Looking For:

• Maintain reliable operation of the Company's in-scope infrastructure and networks, resolve escalated incidents, and execute controlled maintenance and recovery activities.

What You’ll Do:

• Administer Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, virtualization, storage and backup platforms. Maintain system health, access permissions and scheduled operations.

• Operate and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, switches, routers, Wi-Fi, VPN and connectivity services. Implement approved network and firewall changes in coordination with cybersecurity and the company.

• Investigate infrastructure alerts, identify performance bottlenecks and monitor CPU, memory, storage and bandwidth utilization. Recommend preventive actions before service degradation occurs.

• Assess and implement approved patches, upgrades and configuration changes using impact assessments, maintenance windows, testing and rollback procedures.

• Monitor backup success, investigate failures, verify protection coverage and perform approved restore tests and DR exercises against agreed recovery objectives.

• Implement approved system hardening, vulnerability remediation, privileged-access controls and certificate renewals in coordination with the cybersecurity engineer.

• Perform authorized equipment installation, replacement and physical troubleshooting. Guide Service Desk engineers providing onsite assistance and validate the completed work.

• Investigate recurring incidents, document root causes and implement corrective actions. Maintain known-error records and practical troubleshooting guides.

• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, asset/CMDB records and operational runbooks. Automate approved repetitive tasks and share knowledge with Service Desk teams.

• Participate in discovery, knowledge transfer, reverse shadowing and readiness testing. Support major incidents and scheduled maintenance under the agreed roster.

What You’ll Need:

Recruit complementary strengths: one engineer stronger in networking and one stronger in systems, virtualization, backup and recovery. Prefer CCNA or equivalent competence and CCNP Enterprise [3] for the networking specialist. Select operating-system, virtualization and backup vendor training to match company's installed platforms. Practice restores testing and controlled automation.

• Networking: TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS/DHCP and packet analysis.

• Systems: Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Linux administration and permissions management.
