## Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant fluent in English and Arabic to join our client’s team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have relevant accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and good knowledge of UAE VAT and financial processes.

Location: Dubai, UAE | Onsite

Language: English and Arabic

Salary: Up to AED 7,000

Experience: 2–4 years

Reporting To: Accounts and Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

Maintain general ledger entries and financial records.

Manage daily AP and AR transactions.

Perform bank and financial account reconciliations.

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.

Prepare invoices, payments, and expense reports.

Prepare and submit VAT returns and related reports.

Reconcile credit card payments against customer invoices.

Handle daily petty cash transactions.

Follow up on outstanding receivables and overdue payments.

Prepare receivables aging and credit risk reports.

Support bank reconciliations and landed costing.

Assist with financial statements and reports.

Maintain proper financial documentation.

Support internal and external audits.

Perform basic financial analysis as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

2–4 years of relevant accounting experience

Knowledge of UAE VAT and local tax regulations

Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS is preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Good organizational and time-management skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
