Junior Platform Engineer

📍 Location: KSA

🎓 Experience: 0-2 Years

About the Role

We're looking for a Junior Platform Engineer who is passionate about technology and eager to build a career in infrastructure and cloud services. In this role, you'll work with servers, operating systems, virtualization, cloud platforms, and automation tools while supporting the day-to-day operations of our IT environment.

What You'll Do

• Support and maintain Windows and Linux servers

• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues

• Assist with VMware, Hyper-V, and virtualization platforms

• Support cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

• Help automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python

• Work with networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP

• Document systems, procedures, and operational activities

• Collaborate with engineers to deliver reliable platform services

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field

• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience

• Basic knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux

• Understanding of networking fundamentals

• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Eagerness to learn new technologies

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud

• Familiarity with VMware or Hyper-V

• Experience from internships, university projects, or labs

• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools
