## Description

Penta Consulting are a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner helping to deliver professional and managed solutions across EMEA.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support a large-scale, complex network environment. This role will have a strong focus on Data Centre networking, Enterprise Routing & Switching, Network Security, Automation and troubleshooting critical network issues.

The successful candidate will be heavily involved in operational support, complex incident resolution, root cause analysis and network maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve critical network outages and complex technical issues

• Provide escalation support for Severity 1 & 2 incidents

• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommend corrective actions

• Support critical maintenance windows, upgrades and network changes

• Work closely with customer technical teams to improve network performance and stability

Key Technical Skills

• Data Centre: VXLAN, EVPN, ECMP, IS-IS, MP-BGP

• Cisco: Nexus Switches, Nexus Dashboard

• Routing & Switching: L2/L3, BGP, OSPF

• Security: Firewalls, Cisco ISE, RADIUS/TACACS

• Automation: Ansible, Python, Postman & APIs

• Optical: DWDM, SFP/SFP+/QSFP

• Server Load Balancing, Virtualisation & AI Data Centre Infrastructure
