Junior Oracle Database Administrator

📍 Location: KSA

🎓 Experience: 0-2 Years

About the Role

We're looking for a Junior Oracle Database Administrator who is eager to build a career in database management and support. In this role, you'll work with Oracle databases, help maintain system performance, support backup and recovery activities, and assist in troubleshooting database-related issues.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and maintain Oracle database environments

• Support database backup and recovery activities

• Assist with database patching and upgrades

• Troubleshoot database performance and availability issues

• Write and support SQL and PL/SQL queries

• Work closely with application and infrastructure teams

• Help ensure database reliability, security, and performance

• Maintain documentation and operational procedures

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience

• Basic knowledge of Oracle Database (12c/19c preferred)

• Understanding of SQL and PL/SQL

• Basic Linux/Unix knowledge

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

• Passion for databases and continuous learning

Nice to Have

• Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) or equivalent certification

• Knowledge of database backup and recovery concepts

• Exposure to database monitoring and performance tuning

• Experience from internships, university projects, or labs
