## Description

Our client is seeking a Senior CAD Applications Specialist to administer, configure, customize, and support AVEVA-based engineering design systems used in shipbuilding and offshore projects. The role combines CAD system administration, automation development, integration with enterprise systems, and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and customize AVEVA E3D, PDMS, Marine, and related CAD applications.

• Manage databases, users, teams, MDBs, access controls, catalogs, and specifications.

• Develop automation tools, macros, and customizations using PML, C#, VB, or C++.

• Support integration between CAD, ERP, and plant systems.

• Manage 3D modeling projects, data exchange, reporting, MTOs, clash reports, and BOM generation.

• Provide user training, troubleshooting, and day-to-day application support.

• Optimize software licensing and system performance.

• Coordinate with engineering, production, IT, and other stakeholders to improve design workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in an engineering company as system administrator or CADD Application specialist on Design & Engineering software

• Strong hands-on experience with AVEVA E3D, PDMS, Marine, Hull Design, and related AVEVA solutions.

• Expertise in CAD system administration, configuration, catalogs & specifications.

• PML I & II programming and customization experience.

• Knowledge of shipbuilding workflows, hull, piping, structural, and equipment modeling.

• Experience with CAD-ERP integration and engineering data management.

• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, stakeholder management, and training skills.

Ideal Candidate

A hybrid professional who combines AVEVA administration and customization expertise with a solid understanding of shipbuilding engineering and production processes, rather than a pure CAD administrator or a pure design engineer.
