## Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant for a leading food manufacturing and industrial group in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in cost accounting within the food industry and a background handling multi-entity (group) structures. You will be responsible for analyzing manufacturing costs, maintaining cost standards, evaluating inventory, and providing financial insights to optimize operational efficiency and profit margins.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle cost accounting, product costing, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.

• Analyze and monitor direct and indirect manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.

• Maintain and update standard costs, bill of materials (BOM), and inventory valuation models across multiple entities.

• Prepare detailed monthly cost reporting, margin analysis, and cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) reconciliations.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities, operational inefficiencies, and wastage across production processes.

• Collaborate with production, supply chain, and finance teams to streamline operational workflows and budget allocations.

• Assist in external and internal audits related to cost and inventory controls.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience specifically as a Cost Accountant.

• Industry Knowledge: Proven track record in the food processing, FMCG, or industrial manufacturing sector is strictly required.

• Organizational Context: Preferred experience working with multi-entity or enterprise group structures.

• Location/Status: Candidates currently based in the UAE with local/regional experience are preferred.

• Skills: Strong analytical mindset, advanced financial modeling, and proficiency in ERP cost modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
