CATERING MANAGER – OIL & GAS PROJECTS

Company: NSH Saudi Arabia

Location: Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing large-scale catering and food service operations for oil & gas construction projects, ensuring efficient catering services, food safety, hygiene, manpower management, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage centralized catering operations for 10,000+ manpower across large oil & gas/construction projects.

• Plan and supervise daily food production, meal services, menus, kitchen operations, and catering logistics.

• Lead and manage a large catering team, including chefs, kitchen staff, supervisors, service staff, and support personnel.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP, HSE, and company/client standards.

• Control food cost, inventory, procurement, wastage, and consumption.

• Coordinate with project management, client representatives, procurement, camp management, and suppliers.

• Monitor catering facilities, kitchens, dining halls, equipment, and accommodation/camp services.

• Ensure timely mobilization and smooth catering operations during project start-up and manpower ramp-up.

• Handle client inspections, audits, complaints, corrective actions, and service quality.

• Prepare operational reports, manpower plans, budgets, and catering performance reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Catering, Hospitality, or related field.

• 15+ years of catering/hospitality experience, with significant experience in large-scale operations.

• Mandatory experience managing catering operations for 10,000+ manpower.

• Strong experience in Oil & Gas / EPC / Construction Projects, preferably in remote camps.

• Proven experience in large workforce/project catering, preferably in the GCC/Middle East.

• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, hygiene, HSE, and catering quality standards.

• Excellent leadership, manpower planning, cost control, vendor management, and client coordination skills.

• Experience handling large-scale project mobilization and camp catering operations.
