Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Shuwaikh for a Hardware & Building Materials Sales Specialist. The role involves promoting and selling hardware and building materials to new and existing customers, including contractors, retailers, and project owners. The specialist will identify customer needs, provide technical guidance on product selection, prepare quotations, and follow up to close sales. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams on stock availability, and ensuring timely delivery. The role also includes building long-term customer relationships, keeping updated on new product lines and industry trends, and supporting showroom or counter sales as needed.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of hardware products and building materials, including relevant specifications and applications.

• Ability to understand and communicate basic Hardware Development and Hardware Architecture concepts where needed for specialized products.

• Familiarity with Circuit Design and Computer Hardware sufficient to advise customers on hardware-related solutions and compatibility.

• Proven sales experience in construction materials, hardware, or related industrial products, ideally within the Kuwaiti or GCC market.

• Strong customer service, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in clear, accessible language.

• Comfort working in an on-site, fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, POS or ERP systems) for quotations, invoicing, and reporting.

• Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are highly beneficial.

• Valid residency status and ability to work in Kuwait; prior experience in Shuwaikh industrial or commercial areas is a plus.

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, or a related discipline) is preferred.
