Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Solaris Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Oracle Solaris administration, SPARC infrastructure, virtualization, and high-availability environments. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in Solaris systems, LDoms, Zones, ZFS, and enterprise production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle Solaris 10, 11.3, and 11.4 environments, including SRU patching and lifecycle management.

• Manage SPARC T/M-Series servers, LDoms, ILOM, and firmware.

• Configure and support Solaris Zones, Kernel Zones, ZFS, SMF, and IPS.

• Support Oracle Solaris Cluster / Veritas InfoScale high-availability environments.

• Support Oracle Database workloads and production environments.

• Handle system monitoring, troubleshooting, performance, patching, and operational support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Solaris administration.

• Strong experience in SPARC infrastructure and LDoms virtualization.

• Hands-on experience with Solaris Zones, Kernel Zones, ZFS, SMF, and IPS.

• Experience with Oracle Solaris Cluster or Veritas InfoScale.

• Oracle Solaris OCA/OCP certification.

• RHCSA/RHCE or Oracle Linux certification.

Telecom or banking back-office experience in the GCC preferred.
