## Description

About Us:

A well-established distribution company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / Manager.

Job Description:

• Strategically manage the warehouse in alignment with company policies and vision.

• Oversee the operations of receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.

• Design and implement efficient warehouse layouts to optimize space utilization.

• Develop, coordinate, and enforce effective operational policies and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant warehousing, handling, and shipping regulations.

• Uphold standards for health, safety, hygiene, and security within the warehouse.

• Manage stock control and ensure accurate reconciliation with the data storage system.

• Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget.

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure smooth operations.

• Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and evaluate employee performance.

• Recruit, select, onboard, coach, and motivate employees.

• Regularly produce reports and statistics, such as IN/OUT status reports and dead stock reports.

• Gather feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.

Qualification and Experience required:

• Education: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and software(ex. ERP, SAP or 1C).

• Proficiency with Excel.

• Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control procedures.

• Experience with perishable goods.

• Knowledge of health, safety, and security regulations within a warehouse environment.

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Experience handling team of 25 to 50 warehouse workers.

• Proven ability to develop, monitor, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and safety.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
