We are looking for a Waiter / Beverage Attendant to join our team at ZUIKOAN in Abu Dhabi and deliver attentive, thoughtful and culturally respectful food and non-alcoholic beverage service. As a Waiter / Beverage Attendant, you will manage the complete guest journey — from welcoming and seating guests through menu guidance, order taking, beverage preparation, food service, payment and farewell. You will help create a warm and memorable experience while maintaining high standards of service, accuracy, presentation, cleanliness and hospitality. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Welcome, seat and guide guests through the menu naturally • Manage reservations, waitlists, tables and takeaway orders • Take and enter orders accurately, including special requests and allergen information • Prepare approved Japanese tea, coffee where applicable and soft drinks • Serve food and desserts carefully while maintaining presentation standards • Monitor tables, pace service and anticipate guest needs • Process cash and card payments accurately using approved POS access • Maintain dining areas, beverage stations and service areas to a high standard • Record waste, breakage and order errors accurately • Communicate effectively with the Kitchen and F&B teams to ensure smooth service • Refer refunds, discounts, voids and compensation requests to the manager for approval • Support events, launches and other operational activities when required KEY RESULT AREAS • Guest satisfaction and hospitality standards • Order and allergen accuracy • Service timing and table management • Beverage quality and consistency • POS accuracy • Dining and service-station cleanliness WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • 3+ year of experience in a café, restaurant, hotel or tea-service environment preferred • Strong entry-level candidates with the right attitude may also be considered • Required food-safety training • High school diploma preferred • Professional English communication skills • Additional languages are an advantage • Warm and confident guest communication • Strong attention to menu and allergen accuracy • Basic knowledge of non-alcoholic beverage preparation • Comfortable using POS systems and handling payments • Strong teamwork and ability to manage service timing • Professional presentation and a genuine interest in hospitality REPORTING LINE Reports to: Assistant Manager – F&B Works closely with: Kitchen Team and Retail Team Shift Leadership: An experienced team member may be designated as Service Shift Leader FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY Accurately enter orders, process payments and control beverage portions and waste.
