## Description

RIT Dubai is currently seeking applications from exceptional candidates for a lecturer position in Psychology for a Spring 2027 start. RIT Dubai is looking for a highly qualified, motivated, and enthusiastic individual.

The successful full-time Lecturer candidate will be expected to hold a Master of Science degree at a minimum in the field of Psychology, Neuroscience or similar and have previous teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. The candidate will be expected to teach multiple breadth courses in the Bachelor of Science in Psychology program (listed below):

Breadth courses (all applicants must demonstrate the ability and willingness to teach some combination of these courses):

● Introduction to Psychology

● Personality Psychology

● Health Psychology

● Industrial/Organizational Psychology

● Positive Psychology

● Social Psychology

Pre-track courses (beneficial to have the ability and willingness to teach any of these)

· Biopsychology (Biopsychology Track)

· Psychological Disorders (Clinical Psychology Track)

The successful candidate will be well-versed in current theories, research and applications within the relevant fields. The successful candidate will be expected to follow course outlines, develop all teaching and learning materials as well as assessments for each of their assigned courses.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

● MSc in Psychology, Neuroscience or similar

● Previous teaching experience in higher education

● Ability to teach across various courses
