This opportunity is designed for recent graduates looking to gain practical experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls within a dynamic and fast-paced organization. The trainee will work closely with experienced finance professionals, supporting daily accounting activities while developing a strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end closing processes, and corporate finance best practices. Responsibilities • Support day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records. • Assist with recording journal entries and updating the general ledger. • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. • Assist in preparing bank, vendor, and general ledger reconciliations. • Review invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness. • Support payment processing in accordance with internal policies and approval workflows. • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. • Help prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation. • Maintain organized accounting records, files, and transaction documents. • Support internal and external audit requirements by providing relevant documentation. • Assist with fixed-asset records, expense reviews, and balance-sheet reconciliations when required. • Contribute to process-improvement and finance-automation initiatives. • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
