Role Description The Senior QS (Quantity Surveyor) Engineer – Estimation is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for infrastructure and building projects. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing drawings and specifications, conducting quantity take-offs, and developing cost plans and budgets in coordination with engineering and project management teams. The role involves monitoring and updating cost data, supporting value engineering initiatives, and providing cost advice throughout the project lifecycle. The Senior QS Engineer will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure accurate cost forecasting, transparent reporting, and alignment with project and organizational objectives. Qualifications • Strong cost management capabilities, including Cost Control and Cost Management for engineering and construction projects. • Proficiency in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to support budgeting, forecasting, and project performance analysis. • Hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing BOQ, with a solid understanding of quantity take-off and standard measurement practices. • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g., RICS or equivalent) is an advantage. • Experience in estimation for infrastructure and building projects, preferably within the UAE or GCC region. • Familiarity with relevant construction contracts, procurement methods, and industry standards. • Advanced skills in estimation and QS software, spreadsheets, and project documentation tools. • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy. • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and meet tight deadlines.
