## Description

Responsible for performing Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) vendor inspection and quality surveillance for Oil & Gas construction projects, ensuring electrical installations, instrumentation, calibration, and inspection activities comply with approved specifications, codes, standards, and quality requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct E&I vendor inspection activities for Oil & Gas construction projects.

• Inspect high-voltage electrical installations, switchgear, electrical drives, and hazardous area installations.

• Monitor electrical and instrumentation installation activities for compliance with approved requirements.

• Inspect and verify instrument calibration for ultrasonic flow meters, level, temperature, pressure transmitters, and other process instrumentation.

• Review E&I inspection, testing, calibration, and quality documentation.

• Ensure compliance with applicable BS, IEC, ISO, API, ATEX, EEMUA, and client standards.

• Monitor adherence to construction standards, quality requirements, health & safety regulations, and applicable legislation.

• Identify quality deviations and support corrective actions as required.

Mandatory Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a comparable E&I inspection role.

• Mandatory Oil & Gas construction project experience.

• Experience in HV electrical installations, switchgear, electrical drives, and hazardous area installations.

• Experience in calibration/inspection of flow, level, temperature, pressure, and process instrumentation.

• Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation inspection requirements.

• Working knowledge of BS, IEC, ISO, API, ATEX, EEMUA, and client-specific codes and standards.

• Knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice, applicable E&I regulations, HSE requirements, and quality inspection procedures.

• QM Vendor Experience.
