## Description

• Senior Accountant

• Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE

• Experience: 3–5 years

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field

• Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, support month-end closing, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger and day-to-day accounting transactions.

• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and account reconciliations.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and management reports.

• Assist with VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and documentation.

• Support internal and external audit requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, expenses, and journal entries.

• Monitor cash flow, outstanding receivables, and payment schedules.

• Support budgeting and variance analysis where required.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and company accounting procedures.

• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.

• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Good understanding of AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax is preferred.

• Familiarity with IFRS.

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Tally, or similar.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• UAE experience will be an advantage.
