Position Overview
- Role: Chief Engineer
- Location: Lift Boat -Qatar (Offshore)
Minimum Experience:
Job-Specific Skills:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in rank as Chief Engineer.

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in rank on DP2 Jack-Up Barges / Lift Boats.

- Suitable DP2 Lift Boat / Jack-Up Barge experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree from a recognized Maritime Academy or University.

- Valid Chief Engineer Unlimited Certificate of Competency – STCW A-III/2.

- Valid national Certificate of Competency with applicable Flag State endorsement/recognition.

- Valid DP System Manufacturer approved DP Maintenance Course.

- Valid BOSIET/FOET (with HUET).

- Valid Seafarer Medical Fitness Certificate (STCW I/9).

- Valid Basic Safety Training (STCW A-VI/1).

- Valid Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (STCW A-VI/2-1).

- Valid Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF - Reg. VI/3).

- Medical First Aid & Medical Care (STCW A-VI/4-1, A-VI/4-2).

- Security Training (STCW A-VI/6).

- The Management Level Course (MLC) for Marine Engineer Officers (STCW A-III/2).

- Engine Room Resource Management (ERM) (STCW A-III/2).
