## Description

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Storage Engineer to manage and support enterprise storage and SAN infrastructure across multiple storage technologies and platforms.

The role will be responsible for the administration, performance, availability, capacity, security, and lifecycle management of SAN, NAS, Object, Block, File, Software-Defined Storage, vSAN, and SAN Fabric environments. The position will provide L2/L3 technical support and work closely with infrastructure, virtualization, network, security, and application teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise storage platforms across SAN, NAS, Object, Block, and File storage environments.

• Manage Software-Defined Storage and VMware vSAN environments.

• Administer SAN Fabric infrastructure, including Fibre Channel connectivity, zoning, and fabric configuration.

• Perform storage provisioning, LUN creation, volume management, masking, mapping, and allocation.

• Monitor storage capacity, performance, availability, and health.

• Configure and manage storage replication, snapshots, and data protection technologies.

• Support storage integration with virtualization, compute, database, and application environments.

• Perform storage firmware, software, and platform upgrades.

• Troubleshoot complex L2/L3 storage and SAN incidents and perform root-cause analysis.

• Conduct capacity planning and provide recommendations for storage expansion and optimization.

• Support disaster recovery solutions, storage replication, and DR testing.

• Implement and maintain storage security and access controls.

• Coordinate with vendors for technical support, troubleshooting, hardware replacement, and escalations.

• Participate in storage migrations, technology refreshes, infrastructure upgrades, and transformation projects.

• Maintain accurate storage architecture diagrams, configurations, operational procedures, and technical documentation.

• Ensure storage operations comply with availability, security, backup, and business continuity requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise storage or infrastructure engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise SAN/NAS storage environments.

• Experience with Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp, or equivalent enterprise storage platforms.

• Strong knowledge of Fibre Channel, SAN Fabric, zoning, LUNs, volumes, and storage provisioning.

• Experience with VMware vSphere and vSAN environments.

• Experience with storage replication, snapshots, and disaster recovery.

• Strong troubleshooting and performance-analysis skills.

• Experience with storage firmware upgrades and hardware lifecycle management.

• Ability to work with vendors and manage technical escalations.

• Experience providing L2/L3 infrastructure support in enterprise environments.

Preferred Certifications

• Dell EMC or HPE Storage certification

• VMware vSAN certification

• Brocade or Cisco SAN certification

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) is an advantage

## Requirements
