Role Description The Chief Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations within the property. This role manages the maintenance team, plans and supervises preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and ensures that all equipment operates safely and efficiently. The Chief Engineer coordinates vendor and contractor activities, monitors utility consumption, and implements energy-saving measures while maintaining compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day duties include inspecting facilities, diagnosing technical issues, responding to maintenance requests, maintaining records and maintenance logs, and supporting capital improvement projects.
