Job Summary:

The Procurement Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This job holder requires strong analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of procurement principles.

Job Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Vendor Management:

Identify potential suppliers and conduct negotiations to secure advantageous terms.

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and assess their performance.

Purchase Order Management:

Generate and process purchase orders in accordance with established procedures.

Ensure accuracy in order details, quantities, and delivery timelines.

Cost Negotiation:

Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable contract terms.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand budget constraints and cost targets.

Contract Review:

Review and analyze supplier contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Collaborate with legal and finance teams for contract review and approvals.

Market Research:

Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and availability of goods and services.

Provide recommendations for cost-effective procurement strategies.
