## Description

Role Objective

To provide high quality Arabic translation for Corporate Communications, ensuring the company’s messaging is accurate, culturally sensitive, and effectively engages Arabic-speaking stakeholders across internal and external

platforms.

Area of responsibility

1. Translate and edit a wide range of materials, including but not limited to press releases, internal memos and website content, from English to Arabic and vice versa.

2. Ensure consistency in tone, terminology and style across all Arabic-language content to align with the company’s brand guidelines and communication objectives.

3. Support the Corporate Communications department with Arabic-language inquiries from media and other partners.

4. Review and edit Arabic content that has been produced by other departments to ensure consistency and accuracy.

5. Provide real-time Arabic translation support during live events or urgent communications, as required.

6. Assist in developing glossaries and maintaining a repository of standard terms and phrases to ensure uniformity in messaging.

7. Support the Corporate Communications department in work such as organising events.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferably in copywriting or related subjects having 3 years of relevant experience.

Special Skills & Knowledge

• Proficient in English & Arabic (spoken & written)

• Proficient in MS Office

• Good interpersonal and organisational skills

• Willingness to learn and develop skills in Communications beyond just translation

• Able to accept and incorporate constructive feedback to continuously improve the quality of their work

• Able to work under pressure

• Must have an eye for detail

• Able to understand the wider broader context and relevance of content
