## Description

Position: Director of Mine Development and Exploration

Location: Saudi Arabia

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Our client is a well-capitalised and highly ambitious mining owner advancing a highly prospective precious- and base-metals exploration project in Saudi Arabia. They are seeking a driven leader capable of fast-tracking the asset from early exploration through to feasibility and active construction.

We are looking for an experienced Project Director to develop this world-class asset. This role will integrate geological and technical teams, assess development alternatives, and instil commercial discipline as the project advances from exploration through scoping, pre-feasibility (PFS), and bankable feasibility (BFS) studies.

This position will manage a multidisciplinary team, including a Chief Geologist and Senior Geologists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the overall project, ensuring alignment with company objectives and stage-gated investment decisions.

• Evaluate development alternatives, including open-pit versus underground mining, processing options, throughput capacities, and emerging technologies.

• Move the project through the study phases (Scoping, PFS, BFS), ensuring project economics and technical viability.

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary technical team in a remote and culturally diverse setting.

Candidate Profile:

• A demonstrated track record of taking mining projects from early-stage exploration through scoping, PFS, and BFS. Exposure to eventual project development or operations is highly desirable.

• Significant experience with gold and/or polymetallic deposits.

• Previous experience operating in the Middle East is highly advantageous. Candidates must be comfortable working in remote environments and demonstrating strong cultural awareness.

• Deeply motivated by exploration, discovery, and the tangible challenge of building a mining project from the ground up.
