## Description

We are hiring an experienced Data Analyst / Database Administrator (DBA) for our client in Khobar, Saudi Arabia to manage the health, availability, performance, and access governance of the Microsoft SQL Server environment while supporting business teams with reporting and data requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Microsoft SQL Server instances, including performance, storage, configuration, and patching

• Manage and monitor Always On Availability Groups, replica health, synchronization, and scheduled failover testing

• Manage database access provisioning, least-privilege permissions, and periodic access reviews

• Perform SQL query and index optimization to improve application and reporting performance

• Coordinate database backup and restore activities using Commvault and validate recoverability

• Support automated SQL Server schema deployments and minimize manual production changes

• Produce and maintain reports and data extracts for business stakeholders

• Work closely with infrastructure and application teams to maintain database availability and performance

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration SQL Server installation, configuration & performance tuning

• Always On Availability Groups – setup, monitoring & failover management

• Advanced SQL skills, including query and index optimization

• Database security, roles, permissions & auditing

• Backup and restore strategy within an enterprise environment

• Experience working with Commvault or similar enterprise backup platforms

• Knowledge of reporting and data-analysis tools is an advantage
