About The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Lab Integration Engineer to support laboratory integration projects across multiple hospitals in Saudi Arabia.

You will work inside hospitals and reference laboratories to connect analyzers and medical devices to our lab middleware, configure device connectivity, map test codes, and ensure results flow reliably between devices, middleware, and LIS/HIS systems.

This is an initial 3–6 month contract with the possibility of extension based on project needs.

What You’ll Do

• Install, configure, and commission lab middleware nodes in hospital and laboratory environments.

• Connect analyzers using RS-232 serial, TCP/IP, file-based interfaces, and other supported connectivity methods.

• Configure and troubleshoot communication between analyzers, middleware, LIS, and HIS platforms.

• Support device testing, implementation, commissioning, and go-live activities across hospital projects.

• Work directly with lab technicians, hospital IT teams, and other stakeholders to resolve onsite issues.

• Map analyzer test codes and help ensure accurate, reliable laboratory data flow.

• Share field feedback with product and engineering teams to improve middleware tools and deployment processes.

What You’ll Bring

• 6+ years of relevant experience with laboratory analyzers, medical devices, laboratory integration, or related systems.

• Hands-on experience working with laboratory analyzers or medical devices in hospital or laboratory environments.

• Experience connecting instruments to middleware, LIS, HIS, or other healthcare systems.

• Strong understanding of RS-232 serial, TCP/IP, device connectivity, and networking.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in live hospital environments.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with lab technicians and hospital teams.

• Fluent English and strong conversational Arabic required; fluency in Arabic is strongly preferred.

• Ability to travel between hospital sites within Saudi Arabia and work onsite based on project needs.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Mirth Connect or another healthcare integration engine.

• Experience with lab middleware such as Data Innovations Instrument Manager, Roche cobas infinity, or similar platforms.
