Solution Architect – AWS (Distributor)

Salary- upto 23000 AED/ month + Benefits

Location: Dubai, UAE

Role Overview

We are looking for a Solution Architect – AWS to act as a strategic technical advisor for the AWS business across the Middle East. The role leads partner enablement, technical presales, solutioning and post-sales advisory to drive cloud adoption, supporting internal sales teams and external channel partners with the design, assessment and deployment of AWS-based solutions aligned with customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Enablement & Sales Support

• Deliver hands-on workshops, bootcamps and enablement sessions to upskill AWS partners across IaaS, PaaS and GenAI workloads.

• Guide partners on MAP, OLA and WAFR programs, ensuring correct fund usage and milestone tracking.

• Assist partner SEs in positioning AWS solutions across Compute, Storage, Networking, Security and AI services.

• Conduct architecture review sessions and co-build winning solutions with partners.

Customer Engagements

• Act as solution consultant during customer scoping, architecture design and migration planning.

• Run discovery calls and Well-Architected Reviews (WAFR) to identify gaps and remediation plans.

• Support customer onboarding, especially for early-stage migrations and GenAI pilots (e.g., Amazon Bedrock).

• Lead customer demo sessions using immersive environments such as innovation labs and AI sandboxes.

Technical Architecture & Delivery Support

• Provide architecture blueprints and cost-optimised solutions on AWS.

• Use tools to accelerate assessments.

• Review partner-led solution designs to ensure alignment with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

• Drive adoption of Security Landing Zones, Control Tower and governance best practices.

Innovation & Practice Development

• Contribute to building scalable presales IP (AI Landing Zone templates, Solution Kits, Outcome Accelerators).

• Evangelise the company’s cloud innovation through events, webinars and AI Challenge programs.

• Support innovation lab demos, AI foundry initiatives and GenAI accelerators for partners and customers.

Key Metrics

• Number of partners enabled and certified

• Number of OLA / MAP / Mobilize assessments completed

• Conversion rate from assessment to funded migration

• Partner satisfaction and customer adoption metrics

• Revenue contribution via presales-led deal acceleration

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, AI/ML).

• Proven background in technical presales, solution architecture or partner enablement, ideally within a distributor, cloud partner or channel ecosystem.

• Working knowledge of AWS partner programs such as MAP, OLA and Well-Architected Reviews.

• Exposure to GenAI workloads (e.g., Amazon Bedrock), Landing Zones and Control Tower.

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional or equivalent) preferred.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in the Middle East market.
