## Description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at substation project sites.

• Execute civil works including equipment foundations, transformer foundations, control buildings, cable trenches, duct banks, roads, drainage systems, fencing, paving, and structural foundations.

• Review and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, BOQ, and approved method statements.

• Coordinate with civil, electrical, mechanical, QA/QC, HSE, procurement, and planning teams.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve site issues and ensure smooth project execution.

• Monitor site progress against the approved project schedule and ensure timely completion of activities.

• Supervise subcontractors and ensure proper manpower, materials, equipment, and resources are available.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings and project specifications.

• Raise and follow up RFIs, WIR/IR, MIR, technical queries, and other project documentation.

• Monitor concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, excavation, backfilling, waterproofing, and other civil activities.

• Ensure proper coordination between civil works and electrical equipment installation requirements.

• Support quantity verification, measurements, material requirements, and progress reporting.

• Identify site constraints, technical issues, and potential delays and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, HSE requirements, project specifications, and applicable standards.

• Participate in inspections, testing, snagging, punch-list clearance, as-built documentation, and project handover.

• Maintain proper site records, daily reports, progress reports, and construction documentation.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is a MUST

• Relevant experience in Substation, Power Transmission, Power Distribution, or Electrical Infrastructure Projects is a MUST

• Strong experience in civil construction and site execution.

• Good knowledge of RC works, foundations, cable trenches, earthworks, drainage, roads, and structural works.

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Experience in coordination with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

• Good communication, reporting, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of QA/QC and HSE requirements.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of Primavera P6/MS Project is an advantage.
