## Description

👤 Reporting To: Logistics & Warehouse Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for a Logistics Assistant to support import/export operations, shipping documentation, ERP transactions, and logistics coordination. The role requires close collaboration with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage import/export shipping documentation.

• Coordinate sea, air, and land shipments with freight forwarders and clearing agents.

• Create purchase orders, process GRNs, and post logistics invoices in ERP systems.

• Maintain LC documentation and coordinate with banks for submissions and amendments.

• Support stock reconciliation, inventory records, and logistics cost tracking.

• Liaise with customs authorities, chambers of commerce, insurers, vendors, and internal departments.

• Monitor shipment compliance and ensure adherence to company HSE standards.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or import/export operations.

• Strong knowledge of import/export documentation, customs procedures, Incoterms, and LC documentation.

• Experience using ERP systems such as Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle.

• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.

• Knowledge of JAFZA/UAE customs regulations is preferred.
