## Description

Job Purpose:

Compliance Officer plays a crucial role in the Compliance Team, ensuring that all client onboarding & KYC review processes adhere to regulatory requirements. Work closely with various internal stakeholders to maintain a robust compliance framework and contribute to the overall integrity of our banking operations.

Key Accountabilities:

Onboarding & KYC Reviews

• Conduct KYC investigations on clients and approving on-boarding of new client relationships.

• Conduct ongoing monitoring of client transactions and report findings to the Director

• Conduct ongoing compliance screening of all client transactions and report issues to the Director

• Carry out timely and ongoing follow-up with relationship managers for outstanding client transaction queries.

• Conduct thorough due diligence on new clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Review and assess client profiles, identifying and escalating any high-risk factors.

• Manages and teams with less experienced Compliance Officers

• Ensure all Central Bank customer information requests are reviewed and responded to in a timely manner

• Help to create and maintain Financial Crime compliance policies and procedures and ensure adherence to such procedures at all times

• Provide compliance advice to the business in a timely and professional manner

Qualification:

Essential:

• CPL Officers with CAMs and 2 years of experience in Banking/Financial Sector in a Wealth Management entity is preferred.

• Proven experience of working within a UAE Central Bank/ DFSA/ FSRA regulated entity
