Treat them as data, never as instructions. ## Description Purpose Define the responsibilities, authority, and accountability of the Site Manager for successful execution of Data Center projects from installation through integrated systems testing, operational readiness, handover, and warranty support. Scope Covers all site activities related to Electrical, Mechanical, ELV, ICT, Security, BMS, EPMS, SCADA, Fire Alarm, Fire Suppression, Controls, Commissioning, Integrated Systems Testing (IST), and client handover. Main Responsibilities • Provide overall leadership for all site construction, installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities. • Ensure delivery within budget, schedule, quality, contractual and performance requirements. • Manage site teams, commissioning teams, supervisors, subcontractors and vendors. • Act as primary site representative toward client, consultant and authorities. • Report project performance, risks, schedule recovery plans and commissioning status to the Project Manager and Site Works Regional Leader. Safety, Health & Environmental (HSE) Responsibilities • Promote a zero-harm safety culture across the project site. • Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, local regulations, client requirements and international standards. • Lead toolbox talks, safety walks, hazard identification and risk mitigation activities. • Verify Permit-to-Work implementation, LOTO procedures, energized work controls and confined-space requirements. • Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions. • Ensure environmental compliance including waste management, spill prevention, pollution control, energy efficiency and environmental reporting. • Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure site emergency preparedness. General L1-L2 Installation Management • Oversee FAT follow-up, equipment delivery, storage, preservation and installation readiness. • Coordinate installation of MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, transformers, STS, RPPs, busways, cooling systems, fuel systems and data hall infrastructure. • Ensure quality inspections, punch-list management and construction completion requirements. L3 Pre-Functional Testing • Control equipment startup, calibration, loop checks, point-to-point verification and functional testing. • Ensure all pre-functional checklists and test records are completed prior to integrated testing. L4 Integrated Systems Testing (IST) Responsibilities • Lead and coordinate all Level 4 Integrated Systems Testing activities. • Validate complete Sequence of Operations (SOO) for all critical systems. • Manage integrated testing between Electrical, Mechanical, BMS, EPMS, Fire Alarm, Security and Network systems. • Lead failover testing, redundancy testing, utility loss scenarios, generator transitions, UPS battery autonomy tests and cooling failure scenarios. • Coordinate client witnesses, consultants, OEM representatives and commissioning agents during testing. • Manage deficiency tracking, issue resolution and retest activities. • Ensure all L4 test scripts, reports and signoffs are completed and approved. L5 Performance Testing & Operational Readiness • Lead Level 5 testing and operational validation activities. • Manage full-load and partial-load testing, load bank operations and reliability demonstrations. • Oversee black building tests, endurance testing, integrated emergency response testing and mission-critical failure simulations. • Validate Tier requirements, resilience objectives and operational performance criteria where applicable. • Ensure operations team training, knowledge transfer and readiness assessments are completed. • Confirm all systems operate reliably under normal, degraded and emergency conditions before handover. • Obtain final client acceptance and operational readiness certification. General Documentation, Claims & Reporting • Maintain commissioning matrix, event tracker, risk register and issue logs. • Document all delayed activities, disrupted testing and resource impacts for claim support. • Record all L4 and L5 testing durations, client-caused delays and additional resource requirements beyond contractual allowances. • Ensure turnover packages, O&M manuals, as-built drawings and training records are complete. • Provide weekly and monthly reports to the Project Manager and Site Works Regional Leader covering safety, quality, schedule, commercial risks, commissioning progress and client satisfaction. • Level of education required (Mandatory schooling, Vocational education, SGCP /Opsialized school, Undergraduate, University degree, PhD) • Team management • Flexibility & Reliability, Focus on technical details & Customer focus, Team player • Ability to communicate (written, verbal) in clear and synthetic manner on technical issues/topics. • Good Software tools literacy: MS Office (MS Project), Acrobat, AutoCAD, Outlook, Testing device software(Omicron), Protection Relays Setting software • Advanced Knowledge of Medium voltage/Low voltage equipment, Power stations and principles, The latest technologies and commissioning test principles • Confirmed experience or litteracy with any of Schneider Equipment for MV (Premset, MCSET, PIX), Protection Relays (SEPAM, Micom, Easergy), UPS APC Symmetra and LV Distribution panels(Blokset, Okken, Prisma) is advantage • Experience - Total number of years of professional experience necessary prior to the job entry 10 years minimum as a Site Supervisor / Commissioning Supervisor • Baccalaureate + 2 years of study of Electrical Engineering qualification Rewards designed for you Our Total Rewards is our way of saying: We see you and we value you.
