Role Description & Responsibilities The Solutions Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for designing end-to-end cloud, data, AI, and generative AI solutions that address challenging client business and technology requirements while aligning with industry standards and architectural best practices. The Solutions Architect will engage directly with business and technology stakeholders to understand their objectives, translate requirements into scalable technical architectures, lead architecture and technical workshops, and develop solution proposals. The role will also play a key role in presales activities, including RFP/RFI responses, solution proposals, technical presentations, estimations, SOW development, client demonstrations, and technical discussions with senior stakeholders. The Solutions Architect will collaborate closely with engineering, development, security, data, and operations teams throughout implementation, providing architectural guidance and ensuring successful integration, performance, security, resilience, and cost optimization. The role will also contribute to cloud migration and modernization programs, AI and GenAI initiatives, and broader digital transformation engagements, while mentoring team members and contributing to the development of reusable architectures, methodologies, and best practices. Qualifications • Strong Solution Architecture skills, with proven experience designing scalable, secure, highly available, and resilient enterprise solutions. • Advanced knowledge of AWS services and cloud architectures, with a strong understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework. • Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, IAM, integration, observability, and enterprise architecture. • Experience designing and delivering AI/ML and Generative AI solutions, including the ability to identify practical AI use cases and translate business requirements into technical architectures. • Experience with enterprise cloud migration, modernization, application transformation, and digital transformation programs. • Strong consulting and business process skills, with the ability to analyze client requirements, understand business processes, and recommend practical, value-driven solutions. • Strong presales experience, including RFP/RFI responses, proposals, SOWs, solution estimations, technical presentations, workshops, and client pitches. • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for C-level, business, and technical stakeholders. • Strong software development and systems integration knowledge, with the ability to work effectively with engineering teams and understand code-level and integration implications. • Understanding of cloud economics, TCO, cost optimization, and ROI, with the ability to balance technical requirements with commercial considerations. • Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. • Fluent Arabic and English communication skills are mandatory, both written and spoken. • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent are highly beneficial. • Experience working with enterprise and government clients in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC region is highly desirable. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Proven ability to work on-site in Riyadh, collaborate effectively within cross-functional and multicultural teams, and manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment.
