WE ARE HIRING | Senior Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out

ARAS Fine Interiors L.L.C. | UAE

ARAS Fine Interiors is looking for an experienced Senior Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out & Joinery to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in our pre-contract and commercial activities, supporting the company’s growth across interior fit-out, refurbishment, joinery and Design & Build projects.
Key Responsibilities

• Review tender drawings, specifications, BOQs and project requirements.

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for interior fit-out and joinery works.

• Prepare competitive quotations and commercial proposals.

• Coordinate RFQs with suppliers and subcontractors and prepare comparison sheets.

• Develop project budgets, cost breakdowns and tender summaries.

• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, qualifications and commercial risks before submission.

• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, procurement, projects and management during tender preparation.

• Prepare and manage tender submissions within required deadlines.

• Respond to tender clarifications and participate in post-tender negotiations.

• Conduct value engineering and identify cost-saving alternatives.

• Assist management with tender Go / No-Go evaluations.

• Support variations, additional works and commercial claims.

• Monitor project budgets and assist with cost control after award.

• Support interim valuations, subcontractor evaluations and final accounts when required.

• Maintain tender records, cost databases and historical pricing information.

• Coordinate closely with Business Development to ensure timely commercial responses to new opportunities.

• Provide regular tender and commercial pipeline reports to management.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5–8 years of UAE experience, preferably with an interior fit-out contractor.

• Strong experience in interior fit-out, refurbishment and joinery estimation.

• Good knowledge of materials, labour productivity, subcontractor pricing and UAE market rates.

• Strong understanding of BOQs, drawings, specifications and tender documents.

• Proven ability to independently prepare complete fit-out estimates and commercial proposals.

• Experience dealing with UAE suppliers and subcontractors.

• Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

• Strong Excel skills; knowledge of estimation/QS software is an advantage.

• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.

• Good written and spoken English.

Preferred
Candidates with an existing UAE supplier and subcontractor network and previous experience estimating projects across the following sectors will be preferred:

• Commercial / Office Fit-Out

• Hospitality

• Retail

• Healthcare

• Refurbishment & Renovation

• Joinery

• Design & Build
