## Description

CONFIDENTIAL — EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO CHAIRMAN

Location: Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to AED 30,000 per month

Seniority: Executive / Chairman’s Office

Confidentiality: Strictly Confidential

About the Role

A highly confidential and exceptionally coveted opportunity has arisen to join the Chairman’s Office of a leading, diversified business group in the UAE.

We are seeking an outstanding Executive Assistant / Executive Secretary to work directly with the Chairman in a fast-paced, highly demanding and exceptionally high-performing environment.

This is not a conventional Executive Assistant or secretarial position. The successful candidate will operate at the highest level of the organisation and will be exposed to a broad range of business, investment, strategic and highly sensitive matters requiring absolute discretion, sound judgement and exceptional attention to detail.

The role offers an extraordinarily steep learning curve, unparalleled exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to work directly alongside one of the region’s most prominent business leaders.

Candidate Eligibility

• Candidates based anywhere in the world are welcome to apply.

• Candidates do not need to be currently based in Dubai or the UAE.

• International candidates must be willing and able to relocate to Dubai.

• Previous UAE experience is not mandatory for an exceptional candidate.

Compensation

Up to AED 30,000 per month, depending on experience, calibre and suitability for the role.

The compensation reflects the seniority, sensitivity and demanding nature of the position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide highly proactive, seamless and comprehensive executive support to the Chairman.

• Manage an exceptionally complex and constantly evolving calendar, including meetings, calls, travel and high-priority commitments.

• Coordinate extensively with senior executives, business leaders, investors, government and external stakeholders.

• Prepare and organise briefing materials, presentations, reports, correspondence and meeting documentation.

• Ensure the Chairman is fully prepared for meetings, appointments and engagements by anticipating requirements well in advance.

• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously, often under significant time pressure and with limited direction.

• Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, itineraries and associated logistics.

• Act as a highly trusted point of contact, exercising discretion and judgement in all interactions.

• Follow up on key actions and ensure commitments and instructions are executed promptly and accurately.

• Handle highly sensitive, confidential and commercially important information with absolute discretion.

• Liaise across different functions and businesses to ensure seamless execution of the Chairman’s requirements.

• Anticipate problems before they arise and proactively identify solutions.

• Undertake ad hoc projects and assignments of a sensitive or strategic nature as required.

The Nature of the Role

This is a high-intensity, demanding and highly coveted position that requires an exceptional level of commitment.

The Chairman’s schedule can be unpredictable, and priorities can change at very short notice. The successful candidate must therefore be comfortable operating in an environment where urgency, flexibility and responsiveness are fundamental requirements of the role.

The position may require:

• Working beyond conventional office hours when required.

• Availability during evenings and, at times, weekends and public holidays, depending on the Chairman’s schedule and business requirements.

• Managing urgent requests with very short turnaround times.

• Adjusting priorities immediately when circumstances change.

• Maintaining the same level of accuracy, composure and professionalism regardless of workload or time pressure.

Candidates seeking a strictly 9-to-5 position with clearly defined boundaries are unlikely to find this role suitable.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an individual who is exceptionally organised, intelligent, resourceful, discreet and resilient.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Significant experience supporting a Chairman, CEO, Founder, UHNW Principal or similarly senior executive.

• Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.

• The ability to anticipate requirements rather than simply respond to instructions.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.

• Strong attention to detail and an uncompromising approach to accuracy.

• The ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with complete discretion.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to interact with senior stakeholders.

• The ability to remain calm and effective under considerable pressure.

• Strong judgement, maturity and emotional composure.

• A highly proactive, hands-on and solutions-oriented approach.

• The flexibility to work according to the demands of the Chairman’s schedule.

The Learning Curve

The learning curve in this position will be extremely steep.

The successful candidate will be expected to absorb information quickly, understand the Chairman’s preferences and working style, learn the intricacies of a complex business environment and progressively anticipate requirements with increasing independence.

This role will suit someone who is highly ambitious, intellectually curious and eager to learn, and who views exposure to a Chairman and senior leadership as an opportunity to develop at an accelerated pace.

The expectation is not simply to become familiar with the role, but to continually raise the standard of support provided.

Personal Attributes

The successful candidate is likely to be:

Discreet | Highly Intelligent | Exceptionally Organised | Resilient | Proactive | Adaptable | Detail-Oriented | Commercially Aware |
