## Description

Title: Business Data Automation & AI Senior Manager

Department: Corporate Banking - Data Management

Location: Riyadh

Core Responsibilities:

• Strengthens CIB's reporting foundation by maximizing automation of business and regulatory reports, reducing manual effort, operational risk and turnaround time.

• Drives the Business-side enablement of AI capabilities within CIB, working within the Bank's AI governance framework and Central Bank regulatory requirements, positioning CIB to capture efficiency gains and new analytics-driven insights.

• Improves data quality and consistency across downstream reporting and analytics platforms, unlocking more reliable, data-driven decision-making for CIB business heads.

• Provides critical delivery capacity to the CIB Data Management function, supporting the Senior Data Management Manager across regulatory, governance and transformation priorities.

• Own and drive the CIB business agenda for the adoption and scaling of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics use cases across Corporate & Institutional Banking.

• Identify and prioritize use cases, build the business case, define business requirements, and drive execution in close partnership with IT, DMO and the relevant governance functions.

• Own and maintain the CIB AI enablement roadmap: prioritize use cases by business value, track delivery progress, resolve roadblocks, and escalate cross-functional dependencies to Senior Management.

• Ensure every AI/ML solution deployed within CIB complies with the Bank's AI governance framework and Central Bank regulations, including model risk, responsible/ethical AI use, and data privacy requirements.

• Lead the automation of manual queries and legacy workbooks into sophisticated, production-grade business and regulatory reports using EDW and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Denodo).

• Design and execute complex queries to extract large-scale data from the core banking infrastructure (HUB) and the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).

• Seamlessly prepare business and regulatory reports and ensure timely submission.

• Actively uncover data inconsistencies, anomalies and gaps across consuming downstream systems to improve data quality and enable CIB to unlock higher returns through improved data quality.

• Driving Data Management, Analytics and AI-enablement projects jointly with IT, from business case preparation through requirements, architecture, delivery, testing and lifecycle sustainment.

• Act as the primary liaison between CIB Business, IT, DMO translating broad business strategic imperatives into clearly scoped technical frameworks, analytics solutions and metrics.

• Maintain precise program estimations, build roadmaps and communicate ongoing project status and timelines to key business heads.

• Manage projects through JIRA / Confluence, ensuring transparent tracking and stakeholder visibility.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Python and expert-level SQL for data extraction, manipulation and query optimization.

• Practical experience applying machine learning and statistical modelling techniques; working knowledge of AI/GenAI tools and their responsible deployment within a regulated banking environment.

• Strong hands-on proficiency with Denodo for connecting heterogeneous data sources.

• Advanced dashboard design and data modelling using Tableau and Power BI to create intuitive executive readouts.

• Expert competency with Alteryx / Tableau Prep for rapid workflow automation and data preparation.

• Practical knowledge of Core Banking Systems (e.g., HUB, AS400) and Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW); familiarity with Collibra is highly advantageous.

• Hands-on experience managing projects through JIRA / Confluence.

• Deep understanding of CIB products and value chains (trade finance, cash management, lending, treasury).

• Proven background in financial services, corporate banking, or data management environments, at a senior/managerial level.

• Demonstrable experience leading or playing a principal role in large-scale change and transformation programs centered on data infrastructure, enterprise analytics or AI enablement.
