Role Summary

SDPM International is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer – Business Development & Tendering to join our team in Kuwait. The candidate should have 15+ years of experience and will support our projects as a Civil Engineer, with a strong focus on identifying and securing new projects for the company and handling tendering activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide civil engineering and technical support on assigned projects.

• Identify and pursue new projects, tenders, and business opportunities.

• Bring new projects and business opportunities to the company.

• Manage tendering and proposal activities, including reviewing TOR, Scope of Work, specifications, drawings, and tender requirements; preparing prequalification documents and technical and financial proposals.

• Lead client meetings, presentations, negotiations, tender clarifications, and follow-ups.

• Maintain a strong professional network with government entities, clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders in Kuwait.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is a must; an additional Business degree will be an advantage.

• KSE membership.

• 15+ years of relevant experience, including proven Kuwait experience.

• Strong experience in civil engineering, project management, business development, and tender/proposal preparation.

• Proven track record of securing new projects/business.

• Fluent in Arabic and English, with the ability to prepare and review professional, technical, and financial documents in both languages.

• Strong knowledge of the Kuwait/GCC engineering, consultancy, and contracting market.

• Currently residing in Kuwait with a valid transferable Kuwait work visa/residency.

• Kuwait driving license is preferred.
