## Description

JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-backed energy and digital infrastructure platform as they look to expand their team with a Director of Investment, Capital Markets & Project Finance in Oman.

You'll lead the platform's capital strategy and raise the funding for both the data centre estate and the IT infrastructure inside it, including GPU and compute.

Responsibilities:

• Set and deliver the capital strategy across equity, debt, mezzanine and hybrid instruments

• Arrange project finance, construction facilities, term debt, bridge and refinancing packages

• Lead relationships with banks, infrastructure funds, private credit, DFIs and export credit agencies

• Build and own the financial models for developments, acquisitions and financing deals

• Prepare investment cases and Investment Committee papers, and make clear recommendations

• Structure vendor financing, leasing and residual-value deals for GPU and server estates

• Run transactions end to end with the BD team, from due diligence through to close

• Build and lead the investment and project finance team

Requirements:

• 12+ years in investment banking, infrastructure funds, project finance, private equity or corporate development

• Track record of closing large-scale equity and debt deals in digital infrastructure, energy or real assets, including greenfield financing

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field; CFA or MBA preferred

• Strong, hands-on financial modelling, with the ability to defend assumptions to lenders and investors

• Solid grasp of project finance structures, capital stack design and covenant packages

• Exposure to GPU or IT equipment financing is a real plus

• Experience across GCC, Spanish and international capital markets

• Fluent English

## Requirements
