Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rai for a Paint Sales & Tinting Machine Operator. The role involves assisting customers with paint product selection, providing technical guidance on product usage, and suggesting suitable colors and finishes for different applications. The Paint Sales & Tinting Machine Operator will operate and maintain tinting machines, mix and match paint colors according to customer specifications, and ensure accurate tinting formulas are used. Daily tasks include checking product stock, organizing the paint display area, preparing orders, and coordinating with the warehouse team for timely replenishment. The role also includes monitoring product quality, following safety procedures, keeping equipment clean and functional, and documenting machine issues or maintenance needs.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Machine Operation and working with Machinery, particularly in relation to paint tinting equipment.

• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control, ensuring accurate color matching and consistent product standards.

• Candidates should possess skills using Hand Tools relevant to paint preparation, packaging, and minor equipment adjustments.

• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and suppliers.

• Basic knowledge of paints, coatings, and construction materials is beneficial.

• Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle chemicals and materials responsibly.

• Previous experience in retail sales, hardware or building materials, or a similar technical sales environment is an asset.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanical, technical, or industrial fields is a plus.

• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a warehouse or store environment.

• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn company systems and product ranges.
