About the Role

Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure & Kubernetes Experience -5+ Years Looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in enterprise application deployment, middleware administration, CI/CD, automation, cloud, containers, and production support. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Linux, application servers, SOA/OSB, CI/CD, automation, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, with the ability to lead deployments and troubleshoot critical production environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise application and middleware deployments across Dev/SIT/UAT/Production.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

• Automate infrastructure and application deployments using Ansible and scripting.

• Manage JBoss, WebLogic, GlassFish, Tomcat, and SOA/OSB environments.

• Support Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Azure, and AWS environments.

• Troubleshoot application, JVM, middleware, Linux, network, and production issues.

• Lead releases, major incidents, RCA, DR activities, and technical teams.

• Define DevOps standards, automation practices, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience -5+ Years

• 5-7 years of experience in enterprise application deployment, middleware administration, CI/CD, automation, cloud, containers, and production support.

Required Skills

• OS: Linux / RHEL, Unix

• Application Servers: JBoss EAP, WebLogic, GlassFish/Payara, Tomcat

• Middleware: Oracle SOA Suite, OSB, JMS, JDBC, SSL/TLS

• DevOps: CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD

• Automation: Ansible, Shell/Bash scripting, Python

• Build & Repository: Maven, Gradle, Nexus, JFrog Artifactory

• Containers: Docker, Docker Compose

• Orchestration: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm

• Cloud: Microsoft Azure, AWS

• IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation / ARM/Bicep

• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Dynatrace/AppDynamics

• Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, Load Balancers, F5, Nginx, Firewalls

• Security: Vault, Key Vault, IAM/RBAC, SAST/DAST, vulnerability scanning, DevSecOps

• Database: Oracle 19c, JDBC, connection pools, basic SQL

• Practices: SRE, GitOps, HA/DR, incident management, RCA, release management, performance tuning

Pay range- 1800 OMR per month
