The Role We are looking for a Creative Graphic Designer to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role will be responsible for driving visual storytelling and creative design across digital, print, and product-focused communication channels. The Graphic Designer will take ownership of the creative process, from initial concept development through to final production-ready delivery. The role includes designing catalogues, brochures, social media assets, digital advertising materials, print campaigns, presentations, and product packaging while ensuring consistent alignment with the company’s brand identity. What You Will Be Doing • Conceptualize and execute innovative visual assets based on design briefs, marketing objectives, and organizational goals • Develop complete layouts for brand catalogues, brochures, flyers, presentations, and product packaging • Create engaging graphics and static content for social media, websites, digital campaigns, advertisements, and other communication platforms • Maintain and evolve visual identity guidelines, including logos, typography, colour palettes, and layout standards • Ensure aesthetic consistency and uncompromised brand alignment across all digital and print materials • Collaborate with copywriters, marketers, project managers, multimedia teams, Sales, and external agencies to translate campaign briefs into effective visual narratives • Prepare rough drafts, layouts, and storyboards, present creative concepts, and refine designs based on constructive feedback • Prepare accurate, high-quality, and production-ready files according to digital platform specifications and external printing requirements • Organize and maintain a clearly structured digital asset library • Research and apply emerging design trends, industry best practices, software capabilities, and new creative technologies What We Are Looking For Some of the key competencies required for the role include: Functional • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator • Working knowledge of emerging digital layout platforms, AI-enabled creative tools, and prototyping tools such as Figma or Canva • Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, layout composition, visual hierarchy, and balance • Ability to translate complex brand messages, data, and concepts into clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate visual content • Knowledge of digital and print production requirements, including file preparation, technical specifications, and pre-press processes • Ability to manage multiple creative assignments, prioritize competing requirements, and consistently meet strict deadlines Behavioural • Highly imaginative, creative, and attentive to detail • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present and explain design concepts • Collaborative and comfortable working with cross-functional teams, managers, department heads, and external agencies • Adaptable and solution-oriented, with the ability to work within creative constraints and evolving platform requirements • Open to constructive feedback and capable of refining creative work through an iterative design process • Proactive in researching visual trends and identifying opportunities to keep creative output fresh and progressive • Well-organized, deadline-focused, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment Our Ideal Match • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or a closely related creative field • 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within a corporate marketing department or creative agency • A strong portfolio demonstrating experience across digital, print, branding, catalogues, brochures, social media, advertising, or product packaging • Deep expertise in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, with knowledge of AI-enabled creative tools • Experience with Figma or Canva will be highly valued • Willingness to undertake national travel within the UAE whenever required RAK Ceramics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
