## Description

Position: Project Engineer Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL)

Location: Saudi Arabia

Experience: 10–15 Years (Min. 5 years in 380kV+ OHTL EPC projects)

Qualification: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering | SCE Registered | SEC Approval Preferred

Job Purpose

Lead the execution, coordination, and monitoring of 380kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) EPC projects for SEC, ensuring full compliance with technical specifications, quality guidelines, HSE rules, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Management: Review drawings, design calculations, tower spotting, sag-tension profiles, and handle TQs/RFIs.

• Site Supervision: Manage survey, foundation, tower assembly/erection, conductor & OPGW stringing, earthing, and commissioning support.

• Execution & Planning: Develop work schedules, monitor baseline progress, allocate resources, and manage subcontractors.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as primary contact between EPC contractors and SEC representatives; handle client approvals and inspections.

• QA/QC & HSE: Enforce strict adherence to Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), resolve NCRs, and implement SEC safety/permit-to-work protocols.

• Material & Handover: Oversee material availability (towers, conductors, OPGW), maintain progress reports, and support line energization/handover.

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.

• Experience: 10–15 years in transmission lines, with 5+ years dedicated to 380kV OHTL EPC projects.

• Certifications/Registrations: Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration required; SEC approval & PMP preferred.

• Track Record: Prior project experience with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) or GCC utility contractors.
