## Description

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong UAE accounting knowledge and hands-on experience using Zoho.

The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, VAT compliance and UAE Corporate Tax requirements. This role requires someone who is highly organised, accurate and confident managing finance processes independently.

Real Estate and Hospitality experience preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities using Zoho

• Maintain accurate general ledger records

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Perform bank, supplier and customer reconciliations

• Prepare profit & loss statements, balance sheets and cash-flow reports

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes

• Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT legislation and record-keeping requirements

• Support and manage UAE Corporate Tax calculations, documentation and filing requirements

• Maintain accurate tax records and supporting schedules

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis

• Monitor expenses, revenue and cash flow

• Liaise with auditors, tax advisers and external consultants where required

• Ensure all accounting processes comply with UAE regulatory requirements

• Support management with financial information and ad-hoc reporting

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• Previous accounting experience in the UAE

• Strong Zoho experience is essential

• Practical experience preparing and filing UAE VAT returns

• Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax

• Good understanding of UAE accounting and compliance requirements

• Experience with management accounts and financial reporting

• Strong Excel skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines

• Good written and verbal communication skills

Salary budget: 7,000 AED - 8,000 AED per month + medical + visa
