## Description

We’re Hiring | Civil Engineer

A well-established Real Estate Company in the UAE is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join its Engineering / Facilities Management team.

Designation: Civil Engineer

Department: Engineering / Facilities Management

Reporting To: Chairman / Chairman’s Representative

Location: UAE

Salary: AED 18,000 – AED 25,000 per month

Benefits: As per UAE Labour Law and company policy

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee civil construction, renovation, infrastructure, and property improvement projects.

• Prepare and review civil designs, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documentation.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, quality, and compliance with approved designs.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, authorities, and other project stakeholders.

• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, material requirements, and monitor project costs.

• Manage contractors and ensure projects are delivered within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE regulations, building codes, authority requirements, and safety standards.

• Identify project risks and coordinate appropriate corrective and preventive measures.

• Support facilities management activities, including civil maintenance, refurbishment, repairs, and building improvement works.

• Maintain project records, progress reports, inspection reports, as-built drawings, and other technical documentation.

• Provide regular updates and technical recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant UAE experience is mandatory.

• Experience in real estate, construction, property development, or facilities management is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, regulations, codes, and authority requirements.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.

• Experience in contractor and project management.

• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
