Procurement Catalogue Specialist

Location: Dubai (Business Bay Office)

Contract Duration: 2 months (Extendable)

Salary: AED 7,000 per month (Fixed) – No other benefits

Working Days: Monday to Friday (Office Based)

PROCUREMENT CATALOGUE SPECIALIST

System: Oracle Fusion Procurement / ERP

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Procurement Catalogue Specialist will be responsible for creating, maintaining and optimising procurement catalogues within procurement and ERP systems, particularly Oracle Fusion.

The role will ensure products and services are accurately categorised, priced and maintained, enabling efficient requisitioning, procurement compliance and spend control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, update and maintain procurement catalogues.

• Manage item master data, including descriptions, categories, UOMs, pricing and attributes.

• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to collect and update catalogue information.

• Validate, cleanse and audit catalogue data for accuracy and completeness.

• Identify and resolve catalogue inconsistencies, duplication and data-quality issues.

• Support ERP/eProcurement system configuration related to catalogue management.

• Ensure catalogues are aligned with contracts, pricing schedules and procurement governance requirements.

• Support supplier catalogue enablement and ongoing catalogue maintenance.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Procurement & Systems

• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

• Hands-on experience with procurement systems such as Oracle Fusion Procurement and/or SAP Ariba.

• Experience in catalogue management and item master data.

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Self Service Procurement (SSP) is highly advantageous.

• Understanding of BPA/contract-linked catalogues.

Data & Analytical Skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and preferably Power Query.

• Strong understanding of data cleansing, classification and taxonomy structures.

• Strong data validation and quality-management skills.

• Ability to identify catalogue inconsistencies, duplication and data gaps.

Stakeholder Management

• Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills.

• Effective communication and documentation skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple catalogue updates simultaneously.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, IT or a related field.

• Previous hands-on experience in procurement catalogue creation and maintenance.

• Experience creating and maintaining hosted and punchout catalogues is preferred.

• Strong master-data-management experience.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience within an organisation implementing or operating Oracle Fusion Procurement, with strong expertise in catalogue management, supplier catalogue enablement, master data, contract-linked catalogues and procurement governance.
