## Description

Role Objective:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior System Engineer – Microsoft Platform & Cloud Infrastructure Specialist with over 7 years of deep, hands-on experience in leading enterprise-scale Microsoft infrastructure and cloud transformation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure solutions, both on-premises and on the cloud, work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our Microsoft’s systems.

This role requires an expert-level understanding of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, identity and access management, endpoint security, and compliance frameworks. You will be a key player in aligning IT infrastructure with organizational goals, guiding stakeholders through digital transformation, and ensuring high standards of scalability, reliability, and cybersecurity.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:

• Architect, lead, and govern the implementation of enterprise-grade Microsoft Azure solutions including hybrid and multi-cloud strategies, landing zones, network architecture, governance, and cost optimization.

• Design and execute cloud adoption frameworks, cloud readiness assessments, and Azure migration roadmaps (on-prem to Azure) for infrastructure and applications.

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to infrastructure and operations teams, promoting Microsoft best practices and secure-by-design principles.

• Administer and optimize Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

• Lead the enterprise rollout and lifecycle management of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online/Hybrid, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Power Platform.

• Design and enforce Zero Trust Architecture using Microsoft Defender Suite, Microsoft Sentinel, Intune, Microsoft Purview, and Endpoint Manager.

• Champion compliance initiatives, integrating Microsoft’s Compliance Manager and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO, NIST) into infrastructure and cloud governance.

• Drive automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and CI/CD practices using PowerShell, Azure Automation, ARM Templates, and Bicep.

• Deliver disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BC) strategies using Azure Site Recovery, backup policies, and high availability design patterns.

• Lead or support Security Operations Center (SOC) and Vulnerability Management Programs in coordination with security teams.

• Establish and maintain documentation libraries including design blueprints, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and DR runbooks.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, business units, project managers, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery and IT service alignment.

• Provide executive-level reporting, risk assessments, and recommendations to CIOs, CISOs, and IT Steering Committees.

• Act as a strategic advisor in vendor evaluations, licensing models (Microsoft EA, CSP), and technology roadmaps.

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
