## Description

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Lead / Engineer to support the design and engineering of Data Centre projects. The role will be responsible for developing, coordinating, reviewing, and delivering mechanical engineering designs, with a strong focus on HVAC, cooling systems, ventilation, and associated mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and/or execute mechanical design activities for Data Centre projects.

• Develop and review HVAC and mechanical system designs, calculations, layouts, schematics, and technical specifications.

• Prepare/review design calculations, equipment sizing, heat-load calculations, pressure-drop calculations, and equipment schedules.

• Review engineering drawings, layouts, P&IDs, schematics, and equipment specifications.

• Coordinate mechanical designs with Electrical, Civil/Structural, Fire & Life Safety, BMS and other disciplines.

• Ensure designs comply with applicable Indian/international codes, project specifications, and Data Centre design standards.

• Monitor design deliverables to ensure they are completed within agreed quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Required Technical Experience

• Strong experience in HVAC and mechanical building services design.

• Experience working on Data Centre / mission-critical / critical infrastructure projects is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, HAP/TRACE, or equivalent tools will be an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Relevant professional experience in mechanical/HVAC design.

• Data Center: mission-critical or large-scale commercial/industrial project experience preferred.
