## Description

A newly established law firm in Oman is seeking an experienced Investment Funds Lawyer to join its growing team as it builds out its specialist practices. The firm operates under English common law principles and is based in Al Mouj Business Park, one of Muscat’s most prestigious business destinations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth platform at an early stage, with ambitious plans to build a team of 25+ lawyers and develop a leading offering for institutional and sophisticated investors across the region.

The ideal candidate will have genuine transactional experience advising on investment funds and fund structures, with a strong understanding of the commercial considerations behind those structures rather than being focused purely on drafting LPAs or SHAs. Experience advising sovereign wealth funds is highly desirable, ideally including exposure to clients such as the Oman Investment Authority. Candidates should have a strong understanding of investor protection, fund economics and profitability, and be commercially minded, pragmatic and comfortable engaging with clients on the wider business considerations of fund structures. 8+ PQE is desirable, although relevant transaction experience will be the key consideration.
