## Description

Reneco is seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Tendering & Procurement Officer to support procurement operations and coordinate tendering activities from initiation through award recommendation. Based at the company's Abu Dhabi headquarters. This role is responsible for managing supplier engagement, preparing tender and procurement documentation, coordinating quotation and proposal evaluations, and ensuring procurement activities are conducted in accordance with operational requirements, budgets, and company policies.

The successful candidate will support the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing activities, RFQ and RFP administration, vendor communications, bid clarification management, commercial reviews, and contract coordination. Working closely with operational, technical, finance, and project teams, the Tendering & Procurement Officer will ensure procurement requests are processed accurately, suppliers are evaluated objectively, and procurement records are maintained in line with internal procedures and compliance requirements.

Success in this role will depend on the ability to coordinate tender processes effectively, maintain productive supplier relationships, support contract administration activities, and contribute to achieving value-for-money outcomes while ensuring transparency and adherence to company procurement procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, issue, and administer Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and other procurement documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Coordinate end-to-end tendering activities, including supplier invitations, bid receipt, clarification management, evaluation coordination, and award recommendation.

• Identify, source, and engage suitable suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality service delivery, and compliance with operational requirements.

• Support the technical and commercial evaluation of bids and quotations, ensuring submissions are assessed against defined specifications, evaluation criteria, and commercial requirements.

• Prepare comparative bid analyses, procurement summaries, and recommendation reports for management review and approval.

• Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather procurement requirements, define specifications, establish timelines, and ensure alignment with project and operational needs.

• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and other commercial conditions to achieve cost-effective procurement outcomes.

• Coordinate contract preparation, review, execution, and filing, while ensuring all required approvals are obtained in accordance with delegated authorities.

• Monitor supplier performance against agreed quality, cost, delivery, and service commitments and support the resolution of supplier-related issues.

• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, tender files, contracts, and supporting documentation for audit, compliance, and reporting purposes.

• Ensure procurement and tendering activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, ethical standards, contractual obligations, and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking activities to identify sourcing opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and potential procurement risks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience in procurement, tendering, purchasing, or supply chain coordination within a corporate environment.

• Strong understanding of procurement processes, tender evaluation methodologies, and supplier management practices.

• Experience preparing RFQs, tender documents, bid comparison reports, and procurement recommendations.

• Working knowledge of contract terms, commercial negotiations, and vendor performance evaluation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

• Experience using Oracle Fusion or procurement management systems for purchase orders, vendor records, and reporting.

• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for supplier correspondence and internal coordination.

• Professional negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
